Best Honey Glazed Carrots Recipe

Honey-glazed carrots make a simple Christmas side dish! These carrots are easy to make with little ingredients.  


– 1 pound baby carrot – 3 tablespoons butter – 3 tablespoons honey – 1 teaspoon fine sea salt – Black pepper to taste


Halve carrots angled in half. In a small dutch oven or medium pot, melt butter over medium heat. The carrots should only reach halfway up the saucepan.  

Step 1

After melting the butter, add the carrots, honey, a teaspoon of salt, and several liberal grinds of black pepper. Mix well, cover, and cook on high for 5 minutes.   

Step 2

Stir after 5 minutes, then reduce the heat to medium and cook for 3 more minutes, stirring occasionally.   

Step 3

Until the carrots are fork tender and the melted butter and honey have reduced into a glaze. Add salt and pepper as needed.
