Best Pizza Sliders Recipe

Sliders make pizza night easy every night of the week! Hawaiian roll sliders with your family's favourite pizza toppings make a fun supper for everyone.  


– 2 packages King's Hawaiian sweet rolls 12 count each – 1 jar pizza sauce or marinara sauce 13 ounces; OR about 1 ½ cups homemade sauce – 8 ounces sliced pepperoni – 16 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese – 6-8 ounces freshly grated parmesan cheese – 1 ½ teaspoons pizza seasoning For the topping: – 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted – 1 clove fresh garlic finely minced – 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning – Pinch of salt & pepper Additional optional toppings: – Thinly sliced bell pepper – Roasted red pepper – Thinly sliced onion – Cooked and crumbled sausage – …and more!


Warm the oven up to 350°F. Spray cooking spray on a big baking dish or a baking sheet with a lip around the edge. Put away.  

Step 1

Do not pull the rolls apart. Instead, use a big serrated knife to cut them in half, like you would a bagel, so the tops and bottoms are separated.   

Step 2

Put the bottoms in the baking pan that has been prepared, cut side up.  

Step 3

Put the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses and the pizza sauce in a bowl and mix them together.  

Step 4

Place a thin layer of about half of the pizza sauce on the bottom of each roll. Then, put half of the cheese mixture on top of the sauce.  

Step 5

Put the pepperoni on top of the cheese, and then cover it with the rest of the cheese.   

Step 6

On the cut side of the roll tops, spread the rest of the sauce. Place them on top of the sliders.  

Step 7

Put garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Melt the butter and mix it in. Use the mix to brush on top of the sliders.  

Step 8

Put them in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the tops get a little brown.   

Step 9

You can put some more Parmesan cheese on top right away after taking the sliders out of the oven if you want to.
