Best Spaghetti Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

With this easy recipe, you can use up extra spaghetti and take it with you anywhere. It's called Spaghetti Grilled Cheese!  


– 4 large slices Italian bread, or 6 smaller slice – 4 Tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature – ½ teaspoon garlic powder – 1 ½ cups leftover spaghetti with meat sauce, warmed through – 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded – 4 slices provolone cheese – ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese


Mix butter and garlic powder in a small bowl. Spread butter to the edges of each slice of bread.  

Step 1

On the outside of the bread, sprinkle Parmesan cheese. Press the cheese into the butter a little with your fingers or a knife.  

Step 2

Place the bread slice (buttered side out), the scoop of pasta, the provolone cheese slices, and then the next bread slice on top of each other.  

Step 3

Use medium to high heat to warm up a heavy nonstick or cast iron skillet that has been used before.   

Step 4

Cook the bread in the pan for three minutes, or until it turns golden brown.   

Step 5

Carefully flip the pan over, put the lid on top, and cook for another two to three minutes, until the second side is brown and the cheese melts.  Take it off the heat and serve right away.
