Easy Puff Pastry Pigs In A Blanket Recipe

Puff Pastry Pigs in a Blanket elevates a classic appetiser! Cheese-filled puff pastry hot dogs with everything bagel seasoning make a delicious meal or snack.  

INGREDIENTS

– 1 sheet puff pastry – 8 all beef hot dogs (or 6 hot dogs, cut in half for the mini version) – 1 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese – 1 egg, lightly beaten – Everything bagel seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS

Thaw puff pastry till cold yet workable. Roll the puff pastry into a 14-by-9-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.  

Step 1

Cut the puff pastry in half lengthwise, then in fourths (for full hot dogs) or thirds and fourths (12 squares for half hot dogs).  

Step 2

Sprinkle cheese on each square and place a hot dog with diamond tips in the centre.  

Step 3

Seal the two sides with egg wash. Brush the puff pastry's edges with egg wash and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.  

Step 4

Bake at 400 degrees. Put the pigs in a blanket on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake puff pastry for 15-17 minutes until golden brown.  

Step 5

To air fry blanket pigs, lightly oil the grate. Put wrapped hot dogs in air fryer without stacking! Air-fried 5-7 minutes at 375 until golden.
