Grand Floridian Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Enjoy Disney magic in your kitchen with Grand Floridian Chocolate Chip Cookies. You can bake chocolate-chip cookies in minutes with this dough full of chocolate chips and no cooling.  


– 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – ½ teaspoon salt – 10 tablespoons unsalted butter room temperature – 1 cup lightly packed light brown sugar – ¾ cup powdered sugar – 2 large eggs room temperature – 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract – 12 ounces chocolate chips milk, semi-sweet or dark – flaky sea salt optional


Preheat oven to 325°F and line cookie sheets with parchment. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Set aside.  

Step 1

Beat the butter and sugars on medium speed in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment or a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.  

Step 2

Beat each egg carefully after adding it. Mix in vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture until mixed. Mix in chocolate chips.  

Step 3

Use a large cookie scoop to scoop 3 tablespoons of dough and smooth into balls. Place each dough ball on the prepared cookie sheet with at least 3 inches between them.  

Step 4

Pre-heat oven and bake 15-16 minutes till edges are golden brown. Flaky sea salt can be sprinkled on cookies immediately.  

Step 5

Cool cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before moving them to a wire rack.
