Healthy Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad Recipe

You have to have this bacon ranch pasta salad at your next party. It's full of bacon, vegetables, cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing.  

INGREDIENTS

– 1 pound dry rotini pasta – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 12 ounces cooked bacon chopped – 12 ounces cherry tomatoes halved or quartered – ½ cup diced roasted red pepper – 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese – ½ cup sliced green onions plus more for garnish – ¼ to ⅓ cup sliced green or black olives optional For the dressing: – 1 cup mayonnaise – ½ cup milk – 3 tablespoons ranch seasoning – ¼ teaspoon garlic powder – ¼ teaspoon black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

As the water boils, add salt to a big pot. Follow the advice on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente after adding it.   

Step 1

Once the pasta is done, drain it. Run cold water over them, let them dry completely, and then toss them with the olive oil. Put away.  

Step 2

In a bowl, mix the dressing ingredients with a whisk until the dressing is smooth and well mixed.  

Step 3

Take a big bowl and put the cooked pasta, bacon, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, cheese, green onions, and olives (if you want to use them).   

Step 4

Add the sauce and mix everything together. Check the flavour and add more salt or pepper if you like.  

Step 5

Ensure that the dish is covered and placed in the refrigerator for a minimum of one hour.
